Decreases recorded in Latvia and Germany

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APRIL 12 - Poland, Bulgaria and Hungary
are the EU member countries that recorded the highest increases
in the industrial production in February 2019, compared to the
same month of 2018.
According to new Eurostat data made public today, the production in Poland increased by 6.8% year-on-year, in Bulgaria by 6.6%, in Hungary by 5.9%. The largest decreases in industrial production were registered in Latvia (-3.1% year-on-year), in Portugal (-2.9%) and in Germany (-2.0%).
In February 2019 compared with February 2018, industrial production decreased by 0.3% in the euro area and increased by 0.3% in the EU28, Eurostat said.
On a monthly basis, between January and February 2019, the largest increases in the industrial production were observed in Poland (+1.7%), Bulgaria (+1.5%) and Hungary (+1.0%). (ANSA).
