Montenegro: seven bids for Tivat, Podgorica airports

30-year concessions, 200 mn investments expected

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 26 - Montenegro has received seven offers in a pre-qualification bid for the concessions to manage the two international airports of Podgorica and Tivat, the Montenegrin Transport ministry announced in a statement.

Bids were submitted by three consortia formed by Turkey's Cengiz and Denmark's Copenhagen Airports; France's Groupe ADP and Turkey's TAV; Ireland's DAA International, France's Bouygues Batiment International and Luxembourg's Marguerite, the specialized portal SeeNews reported, adding that South Korea's Incheon International Airport Corporation, India's GMR, Luxembourg's Corporacion America Airports and Turkey's Limak Holding have submitted separate individual bids.

The portal recalled that Montenegro approved a plan to award a 30-year concession for the Tivat and Podgorica airports and it expects an investment of over 200 million euro. (ANSA).
