EU launches new 6 W.Balkans' agreement on roaming next month
Albania and Kosovo will be included for the first time

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOV 19 - EU Commissioner for Enlargement,
Mariya Gabriel, announced today that "next month we will have a
new regional agreement on roaming", which will involve "all six
Balkan countries". Gabriel attended the opening press conference
of the Western Balkans summit in Vienna.
The new agreement will replace the one currently in force among the telecommunications operators of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, and Macedonia. Albania and Kosovo will, therefore, be involved. "The digital agenda that we launched in June and developed in the last few months" shows the EU "determination" to offer "benefits to all citizens," Gabriel said. (ANSA).
