Romania: 152 mn euros for gas network in North-East
Strategic project for linking with Moldova

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 23 NOV - The Romanian State-owned gas
transporter Transgaz will invest 152 million euros for the
developing of the gas transport network in the North-East region
in Romania, local media reported.
A contract for realizing the project was signed on November 22 and 46 million from EU finds will contribute to the initiative, the Romanian Economy ministry said, quoted by the portal Romania Insider, which noted that the project "is strategic as it will also develop the gas link with Moldova." Transgaz is also developing a gas pipeline between Ungheni, at Moldova's border with Romania, and Chisinau, Romania Insider recalled. (ANSA).
