Italian author will attend event in Skopje

(ANSA) - SKOPJE - Italian writer Claudio Magris was appointed
honorary member of the Association of Macedonian Writers. The
award, which was announced today, will be delivered to Magris by
the president of the Vele Smilevski Association at a ceremony
scheduled for November 16 at the Philharmonic Hall in Skopje.
Claudio Magris, who is a very popular and appreciated writer in the Balkan countries, will attend the 'Week of Italian Book' in Skopje in the next few days, an event organized by the Italian Embassy, the Dante Alighieri Society and the faculty of Linguistics 'Blaze Koneski'. (ANSA).
