Macedonia: local election, October 15, 1.8mn eligible voters

(ANSA) - SKOPJE - Just over 1.8mn people have the right to vote
in the local elections in Macedonia scheduled on October 15,
Skopje-based Central election committee reported, pointing out
that about 77,000 voters reside abroad and almost 1,900 are
being detained in the country's prisons. It will be possible to
vote in 3,480 polling stations, whereas second rounds are
scheduled for October 29. (ANSA).
