(ANSA) - SKOPJE - ''Macedonia currently does not need stand-by arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

We agreed with IMF to deepen the cooperation primarily on technical assistance missions,'' Finance Minister Dragan Tevdovski said Tuesday, referring to the visit of IMF team to Macedonia in the past two weeks and government's conclusion to stick to the work programme. According to Mia press agency, in regard to the recommendation to increase the retirement age, Tevdovski said that government does not consider raising the retirement age, but added that they believe that part of the recommendations can be applied, and among them is to increase public spending efficiency.
