EU-19: prices of industrial production, up 0.8% in May
Up 1% in the 28 EU member countries

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, 3 JULY - Prices of industrial production rose
by 0.8% in the eurozone in May and by 1% in the 28 EU member
countries. In April, they were respectively unchanged and up
0.1%, according to Eurostat. The biggest increases were recorded
in Greece (up 2.4%), Portugal (up 1.9%), Cyprus and Hungary
(both up 1.8%). In Italy they rose by 1%. The biggest drops were
recorded in Ireland (down 0.5%) and Latvia (down 0.3%). (ANSA).
