Minister, export 'completely suspended'

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JANUARY 4 - The damages for Serbia
arising for the 100% taxes imposed by Kosovo on Serbian products
are increasing.
According to the Serbian Trade Minister Rasim Ljajic, quoted by local media, Kosovo's decision "has resulted in direct damages estimated at 46.1 million euros for the Serbian economy between November 21st and December 31st 2018." At the end of 2018, Kosovo extended the taxes also to international companies that produce in Serbia. "We can say that exports are completely suspended," Ljajic added, noting that the "appeals of the international community" to Pristina did not have any effect. (ANSA).
