(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 5 - The Hungarian Economic research institute GKI has raised its forecast for the growth of the GDP in the country from the previous 4% to 4.2% in 2018, local media reported.

According to the media in Budapest, the GKI predictions is slightly lower than the government one, which forecasts a GDP growth of 4.3% this year.

The GKI institute expects the "economic growth to slow to about 3% next year as the increase in investments and household consumption decelerates," the Budapest Business Journal reported. (ANSA).
