Jobs: EU, stable vacancy (1,9%) in the 3rd quarter of 2017

Highest number of vacant posts in the Czech Republic (4.1%)

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS - Job vacancies in the eurozone in the third quarter of 2017 remained stable at 1.9%, the same rate as in the two previous quarters. In the EU-28, job vacancies rose to 2%, from 1.7% in the second quarter of 2017, Eurostat reported.

Among the member countries whose data are comparable, the highest number of vacant posts was recorded in the Czech Republic (4.1%), Belgium (3.6%), Germany (2.7%), Austria and the United Kingdom (2.6%), the Netherlands (2.5%), Hungary (2.4%).

The lowest figures were recorded in Greece (0.5%), Bulgaria and Spain (0.8%), Portugal (0.9%). (ANSA).
