(ANSA) - UDINE, NOV. 12 - Chief of Staff of the Italian Army, General Danilo Errico, visited the Italian, Hungarian and Slovenian soldiers (more than 1,000) who took part in the exercise ''Clever Ferret 2017'' at the Varpalota range (Hungary) at the end of October. The soldiers of the three nations taking part in the ''Multinational Land Force'' led by the Alpine Brigade ''Julia'' have tested on the ground operational capabilities to implement co-operation between allied armies.

General Errico, along with General Paolo Fabbri, Commander of Italian Alpine Brigade ''Julia'' and MLF), attended the ''Multinational Land Force'' that held a joint exercise for the fist time.

In his speech, General Errico expressed ''great satisfaction with the brilliant conduct'' of an exercise that ''fulfills a twenty-year commitment to fruitful cooperation between Italy, Hungary and Slovenia within the Multinational Land Force''.

''Clever Ferret 2017'' was the third exercise for the Alpine Brigade ''Julia'' in Hungary since 2010.(ANSA).
