(ANSA) - MILAN, DEC, 30 - Interpump has signed a binding
contract to acquire the international business activities of the
Finnish group GS-Hydro, world leader in the design and
construction of piping systems in the industrial, naval and
offshore sectors, reported a press release issued by the Italian
group, according to which GS-Hydro revolutionised the sector by
inventing seamless piping systems. The agreement provides for
the acquisition of subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Spain,
Austria, Germany, Denmark, Benelux, Poland, Sweden, United
States, China, South Korea, Singapore and Brazil, as well as the
manufacturing activities of the Finnish parent company GS -Hydro
Oy, including international patents and certifications. The
purchase price agreed for the acquisition is 9 million. The
completion of the individual acquisitions in each country is
expected by the end of February. (ANSA).
