Balkans summit: Alfano, agreement on 200mn euro project

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - A ''project park'' which is worth 200mn euro
will be signed under the Trieste Western Balkans Summit, foreign
minister Angelino Alfano reported at a press conference on the
eve of the fourth Summit of the countries taking part in the
Berlin Process initiative.
''The amount is higher than previous sessions - Alfano added -
for transport and energy, and will allow the Balkans to be
better positioned in terms of large European infrastructure
networks. We will sign the Transport Community Agreement,
extending European connectivity standards, in order to enhance
financial tools in support of Smes and we will open here in
Trieste the Secretariat of the chambers of commerce of the
Western Balkans ''(ANSA).
