(ANSA) - TALLINN, JULY 4 - ''I thanked the president for the commitment of Estonia'' to the migration issue with a ''great contribution to the fund for Africa. These are fruitful and really important actions''. That is what Italy's president Sergio Mattarella said at the press conference following talks with the President of the Republic of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid.

''I am hoping this meeting will revive our relationship and the intense dialogue we already have'', he underlined. ''At a political level there is a harmony that is rooted in shared values of peaceful coexistence''.

''The trade between our countries - he remarked - is growing, just like the mutual interest of our companies to collaborate, and even on a cultural level our collaboration is really excellent as well as between universities in the field of new technologies and digitization, sectors in which Estonia has an excellent experience''.
