Car: registrations rise in ‘New Europe’ area

Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary best performers in February

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 15 MAR - Croatia (+46.8%), Bulgaria (+42.2%), Greece (+31.7%) and Hungary (+24.5%) are the European Union member countries that registered the highest increase in passengers car registrations in February 2018, in comparison with February 2017, European Automobile Manufacturers Association (Acea) data show today.

Good performances were registered also in the markets in Austria (+4.7%) and Germany (+7.4%), Estonia (+21.2%), Poland (+9.6%) and Romania (+5.7%), while Slovakia (-7.4%), the Czech Republic (-1.2%) and Slovenia (-0.4%) registered a decrease in new car registrations in the same period. Acea data show a general growth (+4%) in new car registrations in February 2018 in the EU and Efta countries (Iceland, Norway, Switzerland). (ANSA).
