Croatia: GDP growth accelerates in third quarter to 2.9%
Positive contribution from export, household consumption
28 November, 12:25According to DZS, the GDP in real terms increased by 2.9% in the third quarter of 2019 compared to the same quarter of 2018 and by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter. The growth in the third quarter was faster compared to the second quarter, when GDP increased by 2.4% year-on-year, the national public television HRT reported. The biggest positive contribution to GDP in the third quarter of the year "came from a growth in the export of commodities and services, and household consumption," HRT added. (ANSA).
