(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 28 - New estimates of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS) show that the GDP in Croatia accelerated its growth in the third quarter of this year.

According to DZS, the GDP in real terms increased by 2.9% in the third quarter of 2019 compared to the same quarter of 2018 and by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter. The growth in the third quarter was faster compared to the second quarter, when GDP increased by 2.4% year-on-year, the national public television HRT reported. The biggest positive contribution to GDP in the third quarter of the year "came from a growth in the export of commodities and services, and household consumption," HRT added. (ANSA).
