Slovenia most innovative country in Southeast Europe

31 July, 12:48Slovenia ranked 32nd in the general ranking, followed by Bulgaria (40th), Croatia (44th), Montenegro (45th), Romania (50th), Serbia ( 57th), Moldova (58th), North Macedonia (59th), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (76th), the portal SeeNews reported, noting that "Albania was the lowest ranked country in Southeast Europe at the 83th spot, out of a total of 129 countries reviewed." According to the study, North Macedonia climbed the most positions in 2019, 25 in total compared to 2018, and the country was included among the "innovation achievers" in 2019, economies that outperformed on innovation relative to GDP.
