(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCTOBER 3 - Croatia registered a +10%
increase in revenues from foreign tourists in the first half of
2018, the Ministry of Tourism said, quoted by local media.
Between January and June, revenues from foreigners visiting
Croatia reached 3 billion euros, an increase of 276 million
compared to the same period of 2017.
The share of tourism revenues to the Croatian GDP climbed to
19.7 percent, up 1.6 percentage points.
Moreover, the Croatian Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli said
that the country had exceeded 100 million overnights in 2018 one
month earlier than in 2017.
"The growth in tourism revenue is a foundation for further
development, investments, and increased competitiveness,"
Cappelli noted. (ANSA).
