Rate at 8.5% in August, labour force slightly shrinking

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 26 - Croatia registered a total
unemployment rate of 8.5% in August 2018, down from the 8.6%
recorded in July, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (Dzs)
announced today.
The unemployment rate registered last month was the lowest since 2000, the year in which Dzs started to report the indicator, the specialized portal SeeNews noted.
SeeNews added that Croatia had a labour force of 1.58 million in August, down 0.4% month-on-month. (ANSA).
