Croatia: unemployment at historic low, 8.6% in July
Country has 1.59 million employed, up 0.9%

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 22 AGO - The total registered
unemployment rate was 8.6% in Croatia in July 2018, the Croatian
Bureau of Statistics (DZS) reported today.
According to the portal SeeNews, the one registered in July "is the lowest rate since January 2000 when the Croatian statistical office started reporting the indicator." The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 1.6% in July 2018, as compared to June 2018, DZS added. Last month, the total number of persons in employment in Croatia increased by 1.1% as compared to the June 2018, with the number of employed women increasing by 1.3%. In July, Croatia had 1,59 million employed people, +0.9% month-on-month. (ANSA).
