Tourism: Croatia, more arrivals but fewer nights
Most foreigners from Germany, Austria and Slovenia

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 15 AGO - Croatia registered 2,6 million
arrivals of tourists in June 2018, +4% compared to the same
month of 2017, data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (Dzs)
show. However, only 11.9 million tourist nights in commercial
accommodation establishments were realized in June, -1.5% than
in June 2017.
Dzs said that foreign tourists realized 2.4 million arrivals
(+3.2%) and 11.1 million nights (-2.4% year-on-year). Most
foreign tourist nights in June were realized by tourists from
Germany (21.8%), Austria (10.2%), Slovenia (8.9%), Czech
Republic and Poland (both 7.8%) and the United Kingdom (6.4%).
Rovinj realized the largest number of tourist nights in June,
with almost 600,000 nights, Dzs noted. (ANSA).
