Bulgaria, North Macedonia not ready yet to enter in Ue

Premier Borissov, 'Skopje is not mature for negotiations'

(ANSA) - SOFIA - "North Macedonia is not mature yet to receive a date to start negotiations to enter as membership in European Union", said Bulgarian premier Boyko Borissov.

He thinks that "Macedonians still have many things to do. I don't want to be misunderstood but is unacceptable to discuss about Gotse Delcev bulgarian nationality. Borissov asks to Skopje to stop antibulgarian rhetoric, as the discussion about Delcev.

The two countries signed a Friendship Treaty in August 2017 but evidently many bilateral problems remain. (ANSA).
