Bulgaria: 60% employers planning salary increases
Around 40% will recruit new staff

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 26 OTT - More than 60% of employers in
Bulgaria are planning to increase the salary of their staff next
year, according to a survey of the Association of Industrial
Capital in Bulgaria (AICB), the news agency Novinite reported.
The AICB survey revealed as well that around 40% of Bulgarian employers expect to recruit new employees in 2019, around five percentage points less than last year, an indication that employers remain optimistic, but relatively less than twelve months ago. AICB said that the number of companies planning to reduce their employees increased as well, from 5 to 9 per cent. (ANSA).
