Serbian PM Brnabic asks Kosovo to withdraw duties and army

'Still on time to give a different future to Balkan citizens'

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS - "I call on Pristina to reconsider the measures taken" on the duties to Serbia and Bosnia and the creation of a regular army, and "come back" to the dialogue with Belgrade, "we are still on time" to "send a better signal to the citizens of the Balkans "for a "different future ", Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said at the end of the EU-Serbia Stabilization and Association Council.

Brnabic has made a new appeal to the Kosovar government of Ramush Haradinaj to "revoke" the 100% duties imposed on goods imported from Serbia and Bosnia and considers the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force into a regular army "the biggest threat to peace and stability in the region".

Belgrade "implemented all 15 points" set out in the agreement signed with Pristina in Brussels in 2013, while "Pristina did absolutely nothing to respect the agreement", not even "the implementation of the Community of the Serbian municipalities in Kosovo", Brnabic added. (ANSA).
