Italy-Austria cross-border pathways for home care

(ANSA) - UDINE, SEPTEMBER 25 - HealthNet, Interreg VA
Italy-Austria project which aims to enhance shared management
models of home care in the cross-border area, will have its own
stand at EuroBioHighTech 2018, international exhibition focusing
on innovation in biomedical, biotechnology and bioinformatics
sectors in central-eastern Europe.
The project, involving Trieste UHC (University health center) and the regions of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Carinthia, aims to offer integrated assistance to patients, especially those who have been discharged from hospital.
The project coordinator, Ofelia Altomare, will speak at the conference in the framework of "Ambient Assisted Living" scheduled for Wednesday at 4.35 pm at the Oceania Hall in the Trieste Maritime Station. The project manager Gian Matteo Apuzzo will instead meet public institutions, companies and research centers taking part in the Smart Health project, in order to start building international collaboration networks in line with HealthNet.
