Austria: Fraccaro, dual-nationality passports, a hostile act

(ANSA) - ROME - ''The news about the Austrian Government's plan
to proceed on the path towards dual-nationality passports for
South Tyrolean citizens are a cause for concern, and if
confirmed by the media, we would be facing an inappropriate and
hostile act that we intend to reject with firmness''. That is
what Italy's minister for relations with Parliament Riccardo
Fraccaro said. ''I am in touch with foreign minister Moavero who
is studying the issue: Vienna should renounce its aspiration,
which has already been expressed in the past, with regard to
such an important issue, avoiding - Fraccaro added - further
political and electoral manipulation''.(ANSA).
