Claudio Cressati new chiarman of Informest

Professor at Udine University,deep knowledge of EU's integration

(ANSA) - GORIZIA - Claudio Cressati is the new chairman of Informest. He was appointed by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia during the ordinary Meeting of the agency on October 23, along with the other members of the renewed Board of Directors: Edgardo Pesce, Vice Chairman, Daniela Coden, Adviser, both representing the Veneto Region, Andrea Crismani and Diego Travagin, appointed by Friuli Venezia Giulia. The new college of auditors is composed of Vittorio Pella, President, Riccardo Brunello and Alessandra De Biasio.

Professor of Political Cultures in Europe at the University of Udine, Director of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Euroculture, scientific coordinator at the Jean Monnet Module in Multilingualism, Multicultural Citizenship and European Integration and President of the European Academy of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Cressati has a deep knowledge of the European integration process and its historical, economic and institutional developments.

Cressati will take up the post until April 2020. He takes over chairmanship from Enrico Bertossi, who ended his mandate in April 2017.

In the last two years, Informest has developed a portfolio of projects which is worth 80,137,297 Euros, 15,527,335 Euros managed directly by the Agency along with other regional entities, involving 339 partners and 28 countries. (ANSA).
