Kosovo: imports from Serbia, Bosnia dropped by 120 mln

After the introduction of 100% tariffs three months ago

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 22 FEB - The imports from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to Kosovo dropped by around 120 million euros since Pristina imposed 100 percent tariffs on Serbian and Bosnian goods, three months ago, Kosovo's customs service chief Bahri Berisha informed.

"Imports from Serbia dropped by 100 million Euros and from Bosnia-Herzegovina by 20 million Euros," Berisha specified, quoted by the portal Telegrafi.

According to the Kosovan customs service, goods from Serbia have been replaced with goods from Albania and Macedonia, Serbian media reported.

Despite the strong pressure from the EU and the US, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has repeatedly said that the tariffs will remain in force until Belgrade recognizes Kosovo's sovereignty. (ANSA).
