Albania, unemployment decrease under 14%
Employment growth rate in Q2 at 3.4%

(ANSA) – TIRANA – Unemployment in Albania decreased recently
under 14%. The Institute of Statistics informed that in the
second quarter of this year, the official rate of unemployment
is 13.9%, the lowest since 2012.
According to Albanianew.com, women are more privileged in
this sector, because unemployment for them is 2.4% lower than
for men.
Meantime, the employment rate for people aged 15 and over in
the 2nd trimester of 2017 is 57.3%. Employment shows an increase
tendency during this trimester, compared to the same periode of
2016. The employment rate growth was 3.4%, while a growth of
1.8% was registered in the first trimester of this year. (ANSA).
