G7 reaffirms support for Libya govt

(ANSA) - Lucca, April 11 - The G7 in Lucca on Tuesday confirmed "strong support" for the Libyan national-unity government of Premier Fayez al-Sarraj and "underlined firm opposition to all attempts to undermine the stabilisation process", according to the summit conclusions. The G7 urged "all the actors, including those outside the Skhirat summit (which set up the unity government), to work to achieve full political reconciliation, and at the same time to desist from actions which could exacerbate internal divisions and fuel the conflict".
