(ANSA) - Rome, August 2 - Deputy Premier Luigi Di Maio on
Friday slammed results of an expert report released Thursday
evaluating Genoa's Morandi Bridge following its collapse last
August, which killed 43 people, and called for a procedure to
revoke the contract of motorways concessioner Autostrade per
l'Italia (ASPI) "as soon as possible".
Di Maio cited in particular the report's findings of "a lack
of major maintenance work for 25 years, practically since the
State handed over control", calling it unacceptable.
