Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni
on Thursday said a summit on immigration through the Balkans
"finally showed greater common awareness in the EU and the need
that each (country) should shoulder its responsibility on
immigration". He said that "up till three months ago Italy and
Greece seemed alone, but unfortunately the very harsh reality,
like today's tragedy (50 migrants found dead in a truck in
Austria) has brought a common language".
