Italy's foreign ministry said
Friday that it has set up a 1.5-million euro emergency response
program to help counter the Ebola epidemic that has hit some
Africa nations.
The fund will help to pay for doctors, equipment and
medicines coordinated by the World Health Organization to
strengthen surveillance and support programs dealing with the
deadly virus.
