Pope Francis said ahead of
his visit to Morocco this weekend that he intends to be a
pilgrim of peace, whom the world is greatly in need of during
his trip.
"I come as a pilgrim of peace and fraternity, in a world that
is greatly in need of it," he said in a videomessage to the
Moroccan people.
"As Christians and Muslims we believe in God as Creator and
Merciful, who created men and put them in the world so that they
should live as brothers, respecting each other in their
diversity and helping each other in need".
He said "I will meet migrants, who represent an appeal to
construct together a more just and solidarity-driven world".
