Anti-immigrant Northern League
leader Mattteo Salvini said after Pope Francis's Charlemagne
acceptance peace in favour of migrants that he too wanted peace
but not "an invasion".
"The pope wants peace, I want peace too, we all want peace.
We just have to see what's the best way to get peace.
Controlling and limiting immigration, or letting everyone in?
"I think that uncontrolled immigration, an organised and
financed invasion, brings chaos and problems, not peace.
"I think that not setting limits and regulations is
dangerous.
"I think that controlling borders is a duty. Speaking of
peace is easy, working to build it is a bit less so".
