Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco,
the head of the Italian bishops conference CEI, said Thursday
it was undeniable that there are fears about the Catholic
Church's upcoming Jubilee of Mercy following Friday's terrorist
attacks in Paris. However, he also insisted there was no
question of the Holy Year being cancelled. "The Jubilee should
be held, there's no doubt about it, with the appropriate
precautions," Bagnasco said. "You cannot deny that there are
fears. Unfortunately, no one can exclude being the focus of this
brutality".
