Pope Francis, in his homily
during Friday Mass at St Martha's guesthouse in the Vatican,
outlined three ways that Jesus "looks" at his followers: the
look of choosing, the look of forgiveness, and the look of
mission, said Vatican Radio.
The pope based his reflections on Friday's gospel reading
in which he said Jesus looked on St. Peter in these three ways.
Pope Francis said, "(Jesus) asks us something, forgives us
for something, and gives us a mission," adding, "We can think,
'today, how is Jesus looking at me?'"
