Ending crises around the world and especially in the Middle East requires a lot of creativity, Vatican secretary of state, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, said Wednesday. "Additional efforts from all are needed," said Parolin, who addressed the United Nations in New York on Monday.
"One must hope for a political solution, which means we must be very, very creative".
Speaking on the sidelines of a book launch, the cardinal added that all the efforts being made at present are aimed at finding political solutions to various ongoing conflicts.
"We must keep going, without losing hope but with realism," he said.
