Universiade: 8-player football times

To begin 2/7, finals 13/7

(ANSA) - Naples, June 24 - A few days before the Universiade are set to begin, the program for the football tournament has been finalised. The matches will begin on July 2, with the finals on July 13, and eight stadiums will be used in Naples, Benevento, and Salerno.
    Salerno's Arechi stadium will see the first match, on July 2 at 6 PM, of the Italian women's team against Japan, while at 9 PM there will be the Italian national men's team against Mexico.
    The women's semi-finals will be played at the Arechi as well as July 10 at 5 PM and 9 PM as will the finals, on July 13 at 5 PM for the bronze and 9 PM for the gold. In Nocera's San Francesco stadium on July 2 at 9 PM there will be Mexico-Russia for the women's team and South Korea-Ireland won July 4 at 6 PM. The next day there will be the Japan-Argentina in the men's section at 9 PM and on July 6 the women's with South Africa-Canada at 6 PM and two quarterfinals on July 8 and 9, both at 9 PM. In Pagani at the Torre stadium the matches will begin on July 5 with the men's Brazil-France at 6 PM.
    On July 6 at the same time there will be China-Russia in the women's section and Ukraine-Mexico for the men's section on July 7 at 6 PM.
    There will also be a women's quarterfinals on July 8 at 6 PM and a men's quarterfinals the following day at 6 PM.
    At the Lamberti stadium in Cava dei Tirreni, on July 2, there will be the men's Argentina-Russia at 6 PM, then on July 5 at 6 PM there will be Italy-Ukraine and the following day the US-Japan women's match.
    Two days later there will be a quarterfinals, with the men's teams squaring off on July 9 at 6 PM. At Benevento's Vigorito, on July 2, there will be France-South Africa at 9 PM and on July 4 at 9 there will be Italy-US. On July 7 there will be Brazil-South Africa at 6 PM, then the women's quarterfinals on July 8 at 6 PM and the men's the next day at 6 PM and the finals of the women's tournament on July 12 at 5 PM and 9 PM. At Caserta's Pinto stadium, on July 2 at 6 PM there will be Uruguay-South Korea, while in the women's section there will be South Africa-North Korea two days later at 9 PM, as well as Brazil-South Korea on July 6 at 6 PM. Then the men's Uruguay-Ireland the following day at 6 PM, the first of the women's quarterfinals on July 8 at 9 PM and the men's on July 9 at 9 PM. On July 2, the San Mauro di Casoria stadium will be hosting the Brazil women's national team at 6 PM against Ireland, then on July 5 there will be the men's Ireland-South Korea, and on July 8 one of the women's quarterfinals at 9 PM.
    At the Arena stadium of Cercola, on July 2 there will be the women's North Korea-Canada at 6 PM and then on July 4 there will be China-Mexico at 6 PM and on July 7 in the men's section there will be Japan-Russia at 6 PM prior to one of the men's quarterfinals on July 9 at 9 PM.
