Universiade: volunteer training continues

Weekend course for reception, communications and accreditation

(ANSA) - Naples, June 20 - A training course for volunteers from the UniVolontà program will be held over the weekend for those assigned to the Naples Universiade 2019 facilities not hosting sporting events.
Beginning on Friday and through June 25, the volunteers selected will be at the athletes' villages and in all the various facilities that will be hosting the athletes, delegations and member of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) in Naples, Caserta and Salerno. The meeting will serve to get the volunteers involved in the Universiade spirit, introducing to them the organising committee and to functional areas to which they have been assigned, including reception, accreditation, communications, technology and human resources. The training was organised by the Regional Agency for the Universiade and will get support supervisors from AMESCI- an association to which the implementation of the UniVolonta program has been entrusted - who will manage the volunteers during the event. The training courses will be an opportunity for all young volunteers to increase their knowledge and skills. The participation of so many young people at an international event like the Universiade is part of the legacy that the event will leave in the Campania region.
