Italian MotoGP ace Valentino Rossi
was discharged from hospital after sustaining chest injuries
during motocross training on the Cavallara track near Pescara,
sources said Friday.
Doctors declined to say if Rossi would be able to take part
in the Italian GP at the Mugello on June 4.
Rossi, who reportedly had no head injuries or fractures,
underwent a barrage of checks during the course of the day.
The 38-year-old arrived at the Rimini hospital on Thursday
conscious and accompanied by relatives.
His Yamaha team said doctors had found no serious trauma.
