Italian soccer's appeals court on
Friday upheld an appeal from AS Roma against a two-match ban for
forward Kevin Strootman for sparking a brawl during Sunday's 2-0
derby win over Lazio.
Strootman, who scored Roma's first goal, squirted water on
Lazio sub and midfielder Danilo Cataldi who responded by pulling
his jersey.
Strootman was accused of simulating by falling to the ground
and getting Cataldi sent off, setting off the scuffle.
