The result of Juventus's Champions League final against Barcelona in Berlin on June 6 is not a foregone conclusion, Juve coach Massimilano Allegri said Friday.
Allegri said the Catalan superteam have three "extraordinary" players up front in Leo Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez but a highly "technical" display could help Juve lift their first European crown in 12 years.
He said that the recent Italian Cup final, where Lazio gave Juve a real run for their money before succumbing 2-1, was "also supposed to be a foregone conclusion", given the massive lead the four-time straight Serie A champs hold over the third-placed Romans in the league.
"But it didn't turn out that way," he said, referring to Lazio's gutsy display where they fought it out on equal terms.
