Italian Soccer Federation
President Carlo Tavecchio on Monday said he will want to renew,
not annul, a contract with Italy coach Antonio Conte after Euro
2016.
"I want to renew the contract with Antonio Conte, not annul
it - this is our objective when it will expire", Tavecchio said
after talks with Conte.
Tavecchio also called Conte a "warrior", adding he will
live up to the challenge.
Conte on Monday declined to comment on the possibility that
he may have to stand trial for sporting fraud in connection with
a match-fixing case.
