Italy lock Quintin Geldenhuys's
Six Nations looks to be over before it began after the national
rugby federation (FIR) said Friday that he will be out for 45
days with a knee injury.
The South-African-born forward, 33, suffered the injury at
an Azzurri training camp early this week.
On Thursday coach Jacques Brunel called up 23-year-old
Benetton Treviso second-row Marco Fuser to take Geldenhuys'
place in his squad ahead of Italy's Six Nations opener against
Ireland in Rome on February 7.
