An Italian Soccer Federation
(FIGC) tribunal on Friday temporarily lifted a two-match ban
handed to AS Roma coach Rudi Garcia, pending an the outcome of
an appeal.
Frenchman Garcia was handed the ban for allegedly seeking
to hit a steward at the end of his side's bad-tempered 1-0 win
at Genoa last weekend.
Garcia has threatened to sue the steward.
Friday's decision means Garcia will be able to take his
place on the touchline for second-placed Roma's big match
against AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
Roma's Greek wingback José Holebas, meanwhile, won an
appeal against a one-match ban for showing his middle-finger to
Genoa fans.
