AS Roma striker Mattia
Destro got a special furlough from Italy's training camp to get
married Monday afternoon.
Italy are training at the national camp near Florence for
Thursday's friendly against Netherlands in Bari and the
following Tuesday's first Euro 2016 qualifier against Norway in
Oslo.
"If it was up to me Destro would have to cut the cake and
come straight here to Coverciano," Conte quipped at a news
conference.
The Italy coach went on to say with a smile: "We will give
the newlyweds a few hours, after which a car will bring him her
for tomorrow morning's training session.
"I'm expecting a lot from Mattia, he's going to train with
us as a brand-new spouse".
