Lara Comi, a former MEP for
Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia (FI) party, answered all the
questions a judge put to he in relation to a corruption probe on
Monday, her lawyer told reporters.
But Comi did not request to be released from house arrest,
the lawyer, Giampiero Biancolella, said after around five hours
of questioning.
"Comi does not see herself as she has been portrayed," said
Biancolella.
"She replied to everything. She is convinced that she did not
commit any crimes".
According to the arrest warrant, Comi exploited her public
role to obtain "the maximum gain in economic terms" for herself.
