European Parliament
President Antonio Tajani said Wednesday he was "very worried" by
the European Commission's rejection of Italy's budget plans
saying "we're very isolated" in Europe.
"I'm very worried. Today the European Commission has
expressed the umpteenth negative assessment of the Italian
government's budget, which as well as violating the rules we
have set ourselves, does not stimulate investments and growth.
"We are isolated, the spread is steadily above 300 points,
the bourse is at its lowest since 2016, we've already lost 300
billion euros, the lack of confidence of the business community
is growing"".
